Hi Klarissa! I just went through the selection tests and interview this weekend for sec 3. I am very much concerned regarding what would happen to me after this scholarship because I strongly want to be a doctor someday. I am aware that going to a medical school requires a good sum of money not to mention time and I am worried that I will not be able to take up medicine if ever i get accepted and take the opportunity because of the tuition fee of their universities. But i would really want to study in Singapore. Let us assume that I have grades that do not go below 93 by the time I apply. So, can i take medicine course there? And may I also add, how many years does it take to complete? Thanks for the time, Klarissa!
Hi Klarissa. Any idea if Brunei Year 11 - O'level is par with Spore Sec 5? Can I go to JC? I am a Malaysian studying in Brunei, which section should I apply for ASEAN Scholarship Malaysia or Brunei? Thank you
He should have applied last year to study his pre-university which is A-levels (2 years) this year. The term for pre-university level started end of last month.
Hi, I am currently filling in the application form for a scholarship. I made a mistake in filling in one of the fields. So, am I allowed to correct it with a correction pen/tape? If not, what should I do instead? I need an answer ASAP, thank you before.
Hi, may I know when do we need to courier out the certificates? Do they ask us to courier out the certificates in a separate email? Or the same email as in the email stating that our online applicaiton number? I need an answer because the closing date is very near already. Thanks a lot.
Hi, I doubt you'd see this message, but sigh I need help on ways to buck up for my Maths paper. I'm sitting for the test two weeks from now, and I'm stressing really really hard. English is not a problem for me, well, reading from your experience I think coming from a kebangsaan school does help. But Maths still worries me. I have bought Singapore syllabus maths books and have done a few of them (yes I'm kiasu hahahahah) but I still don't quite grasp the questions as they are like Form 4-level-questions (I am 14, Form 2) and it's hard for me. The aptitude test shouldn't be a burden as well, I'm sure I can manage. By the way, I'm applying for the oh-so-prestigious MGS. I looked them up online and oh my, are they good. (MUCH OVERACHIEVING SUCH WOW)
Are you applying for the acs scholarship...if so i heard that it will b our malaysian syllabus questions w/ more HOTS or (singapore style questions if you will) and only 30% of it will be something out of syllabus....but then again i got this from a not so reliable source...hope it willl help tho
Maths in Singapore will always be harder for anyone who comes from Malaysia govt schools especially Kebangsaan schools and the questions are a lot harder than HOTS questions in Malaysia. It gets tougher in pre-uni level. To sit for sec 3 scholarship entry maths paper, you should study Malaysian SPM syllabus or buy both Singapore O levels Additional maths and Maths books (express level). All Singapore students started studying Additional maths in Sec 3 express level and they are only 15 years old. Their sec 3 express level is equivalent to our form 4. Sec 4 express level equivalent to our form 5. But then, some topics they study may not even in SPM syllabus. You could get 99% in Malaysia form 3 exam but get very poor marks in Singapore Sec 3 maths. Not trying to scare you but it's the truth. Our Malaysian education has failed to bring out the best in us.
hmmm i m curious about why do we study secondary three b4 the test and sit for secondary three entry test when we are just gonna study SECONDARY 3 in sg if we get the scholarship

do any of you guys know about the acs scholarship ??I couldnt find anything online so if some1 can explain it ..wud be hlpfull as i have applied for it
ACS AY scholarship is essentially the same, the difference is the criteria is based on that school ONLY. If you fit their bill, you will be awarded the scholarship. The normal AY scholarship encompasses multiple schools in Singapore, as long as you qualify for one of them, then you'll be awarded the scholarship.
Hi good morning, I have 2 questions seek for advice as follows: 1. if a student already received ASEAN Scholarship for pre-u, do he/she still needs to reapply when entering into undergrad degree in SIN? 2. Does ASEAN Scholarship offer to student to study in UK or US university?
hi! are we suppose to identify which secondary school in Sg that we are interested in during the application ? if yes where can we get the updated list please? thanks
Hello, am applying for the pre-u for Thailand. May I ask if anyone has got the email to sit for the exams for this level?
